Patryk Kizny was speaking during the SPAR Europe conference held in The Hague, The Netherlands on November, 7th to 10th, 2011.
Top-quality presenters, live demonstrations, software and hardware exhibits and networking opportunities make SPAR Europe the must-attend European event for 3D, laser scanning and LIDAR.
SPAR Europe has a multi-track conference with more than 60 presenters; numerous live demonstrations in which seasoned professionals share their proven techniques; an exhibit floor chock-full of solutions from among the world’s leading hardware manufacturers, software developers and service providers; and ample networking opportunities.
You’ll come away with new insight into the latest advances and technologies in 3D data capture, imaging and processing; contacts who can help you make the most of your investment; and the knowledge to refine workflows, mitigate project risk, reduce timelines and improve business.
During Patryk’s presentation the HDR timelapse short film “The Chapel” was shown as an example of the Digital Preservation Case Study. The presentation gave an overview of the process of capturing the space of an outstanding evangelic church in Zeliszów, Poland through the means of motion-controlled timelapse. The presentation gave also a brief overview of the motion-controlled timelapse cinematography technique including HDR and showcased other examples of Patryk’s work. The presentation wrapped up with a focus on the importance of film and timelapse for documenting and preserving the cultural heritage.
Patryk’s presentation received a very warm welcome and his newest short timelapse film capturing the laser scanning process (executed by EKG Baukultur inside the Chapel) turned out to be a very interesting experience for the 3D and laser scanning industry.
